Infertility: It’s Not Just a Woman’s Problem

Infertility: It’s Not Just a Woman’s Problem

We discuss the latest research and treatment associated with fertility, with Dr. Mazen Abdallah, Medical Director for the Houston Fertility Institute and Assistant Professor at UTHealth.

Dr. Abdallah says it’s a common misconception that fertility problems just affect women who’ve “waited too long” to have kids.

And we learn about Spaghetti Code, a new play from Houston’s Horse Head Theatre running July 12-28, about the lengths one couple will go to in order to have a baby.

The play is by writer Abby Koening, who talks about her own struggles with fertility and what dialogue she hopes the dark comedy will evoke among its audience.
