Third Houston Hackathon Brings Designers and Programmers Together to Improve Life in the City

This weekend (May 16-17, 2015) programmers, graphic designers and other multimedia professionals will participate in the third City of Houston Hackathon.

Now, the word “hack” might conjure something negative, but — as organizer Jeff Reichman tells Houston Matters’ Michael Hagerty — the purpose is to bring together dozens of the city’s creative professionals to find ways to improve life in Greater Houston.

The Hackathon runs from 11 a.m. Saturday through 4 p.m. on Sunday at the Houston Technology Center.
